Genuine Leather
At Fezmo we provide you with the following grades:
- Top-grain leather includes the outer layer of the hide, known as the grain, which features finer, more densely packed fibers, resulting in strength and durability. Depending on thickness, it may also contain some of the more fibrous under layer, known as the corium.
- Full-grain leather contains the entire grain layer, without any removal of the surface. Rather than wearing out, it develops a patina during its useful lifetime. It is usually considered the highest quality leather. Furniture and footwear are often made from full-grain leather. Full-grain leather is typically finished with a soluble aniline dye. Russia leather is a form of full-grain leather.
- Corrected grain leather has the surface subjected to finishing treatments to create a more uniform appearance. This usually involves buffing or sanding away flaws in the grain, then dyeing and embossing the surface.
- Nubuck is top-grain leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side to give a slight nap of short protein fibers, producing a velvet-like surface.
The maintenance part of leather is almost very easy, just normal cleaning with dry cloth once a week makes it look and neat. If anything falls on your leather couch don’t use any harsh chemicals that will damage your top leather skin, just clean it with a normal wet cloth or sponge immediately. If the case is worst you could contact Fezmo customer care we will send assistance immediately. You no need to worry of any knife cut or anything as leathers are strong and durable. Another thing is “pen marks”, if it’s a beautiful white chesterfield leather sofa and has a blue pen mark on the side it will spoil the whole look. Fabric
A Fabric is a flexible material made by creating an interlocking network of yarns or threads, which are produced by spinning raw fibres (from either natural or synthetic sources) into long and twisted lengths. Textiles are then formed by weaving, knitting, crocheting, knotting, tatting, felting, bonding or braiding these yarns together.
At Fezmo we have over different types of fabrics and over 1200+ colours and designs. There are suede fabric, non-suede fabric, shiny, thick dust free fabrics, DDecore fabrics etc.

Rexin/Art Leather
Artificial leather, also called synthetic leather, is a material intended to substitute for leather in upholstery, clothing, footwear, and other uses where a leather-like finish is desired but the actual material is cost-prohibitive or unsuitable. Artificial leather is known under many names, including “leatherette”, “faux leather”, “vegan leather”, “PU leather” and “pleather”.
These are not the substitute for any material, they themselves are totally different but look like leather. We at Fezmo recommend this material in case if anyone wants a bulk seating. These PU are used in most of restaurants seating, hotels bed panels and seating, cafe seating, big mall seating etc. In simple words it’s used only for commercial seating.
We don’t recommend you to have PU in home seating for your sofa as these materials tends to generate heat unlike leather which absorb heat, later on after some years of heat and sweat passing it starts to peal of spooling your home furniture look. Another place where we can suggest this material in your home is dining seating. Because if put any dining chair in fabric it will not be possible to clean if anything spills on, and as we all know dining chairs will have spill 100%. So it’s trusted to go for leather of Rexin/PU.
